One of the things I could not leave Sydney without visiting was the Blue Mountains. So when Liv came out to explore with me, I was so glad she was up for it! Having never been to Sydney before, and not 100% sure what we were doing, we decided on booking a tour so that we wouldn’t miss out on anything and everything was taken care of.
Unexpectedly, we not only were taken up to the Blue Mountains but our little tour bus stopped off at some other marvellous places as well. Our first stop was Featherdale Wildlife Park, where I finally got the chance to see the famous Kangaroo (yes, I know that picture above is a Wallaby) – along with loads of other native wildlife!
Also included in the trip was a lovely stop off on the drive up to the mountains at the quaint little village of Laura where we stopped for lunch. The gorgeous blossom trees made this lovely little (tiny – I mean one street long!)
Now one of the main sites to see in the Blue Mountains I believe are the Three Sisters Rock Formation.

I had a magical time exploring the Blue Mountains with my best mate and the cruise back to Circular Quay didn’t fail to put the cherry on top of the day!
Anyone else been to the Blue Mountains? I’d love to do it non-guided and hopefully get a chance to explore a bit more – anyone seen any other parts that are worth visiting?
