Recently I got contacted to take part in a fashion blogging competition by Farfetch. They sent a content pack including some fashion trends and inspiration together with an interview from the amazing Marsha Campbell from Style of a London Tall Girl and Sara Azani from Style MBA and the idea was to create a blog post inspired by the content pack.

Since the interviews and content pack were all about individual style and fashion pieces, I’ve used some of the questions asked to the wonderful bloggers mentioned and given my answers below and provide a few piccies of some of my style pieces I’ve been loving recently.

Hat: ASOS (similar)

Sunglasses: New Look

Dress: Primark

Trainers: Nike

What are your go-to fashion pieces and how do you style
them?

My go-to pieces would be my Nike trainers, my sunglasses and
my Michael Kors handbag, for more formal outfits or Longchamp rucksack, for any
casual look. I find sunglasses always finish a look really nicely and most
styles go with just about any outfit.

Who do you look to for style inspiration?

My style is very varied so I tend to just spot nice pieces
anywhere to recreate the look I have in my head. The main styles are really
like are Tanya Burr, Beth Norton, Taylor Swift, Stephanie Smith

How do you approach building your look and updating your
wardrobe?

To be honest, my wardrobe is not nearly as big as I would
like it to be! But I’ve come to realise recently that fashion trends come back
round from years ago and so I’ve decided to not throw away any of my clothes. I
know it sounds very hoard-ish and unhealthy but recently I’ve had so much
inspiration for nice looks and discovered that I had the perfect item for it
some years ago and have given it away or chucked it, leaving me devastated and
having to buy it again!

What’s on your fashion wishlist at the moment?

A triangl bikini, rose-gold sunglasses and some dungarees.

Where do you love to shop?

TopShop, Urban Outfitters, New Look, Boohoo, Zara and
H&M

Hope you enjoyed this post, I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments and some of your favourite style pieces!

That's such a lovely look! I love how you styled these pieces. My go to staples now are my black jeans, grey v-neck top and floral converse 🙂 Comfortable and looks quite nice too when you pair it with minimal jewelry. x-Leta | The Nerdy Me
