VOTE! BLOODY DO IT!

It’s the day people! And this post is a final plea to get anyone who might read this to quickly take those 5/10 minutes out of their day to pop down to your local voting poll and fill out that form! Please!

Now more than ever, we as a nation need to stand up and contribute to society! We are all responsible for this country and need to work together to pull it back together so that we can help the rest of the world!

Now I have my opinions, hell I’ve already voted (postal), but I’m going to do my best not to make this biased, but if you still haven’t thought about it or were planning on not voting, PLEASE PLEASE! I’m not going to give the grown-up lecture about how people died for the right to vote (however, it’s still a valid point!) but just remind you that if you’re one of the people who’s sighing at current events or devastated by the world that we’re currently living in, YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO HELP STOP IT!

Yes your arguments are valid, that one person’s vote may not be very significant, but it just might be. What if everyone who planned on not voting today, suddenly changed their mind. What if each of those votes was the deciding vote for that area. And what if, by those votes enabling certain individuals a seat in The House of Commons, did those people fight for something that might just turn everything around.

It really takes no time at all, no effort (It’s literally writing a cross, I mean come on) and it might, just might, make a huge difference. Surely anything, anything can be better than what the nation and the world is like at the moment. It needs all of us to care enough to vote. That means you too!

If you’re still undecided, here are a few links to help you decide without trawling through each manifesto, literally having a quick read will take 10 minutes max and will give you some more knowledge;

So please, please please get yourself down to the polling station, quickly fill it out and then treat yourself to a nice cuppa! If you’re registered then you will have received a ballot paper with all the instructions on, but you basically just put a cross next to the name of the person/party you wish to elect as representative for your area and pop it in the box and you’re done!

So who’s planning to vote? Or has been hella proactive and already done it?

    "Bloody Do it!" YASI think it's so important for people to vote, especially the younger generation and this is such great post to put up. I hate it when people complain about the results of elections ect. but they can't be bothered to vote themselves argh. I love the fact you didn't make this biased too <3Morgan // http://www.justmorgs.com

    Everyone should vote! I'm living in Finland and always when it's time to vote, young people just complain that they don't need to vote because it's doesn't matter. Then it's all complains and crying out because wrong people won. So, I love seeing posts like this! Vote, people, vote! Heidi 🍓 | Heidi's Planner

    This is such a positive and motivating post on voting! I'm glad I went and voted yesterday. I hate it when people say their vote won't make much difference, but of course it does, every vote counts and can make a difference in some sense xxLauren | itslaurenvictoria.blogspot.co.uk

      Thanks Lauren! Exactly! I'm so pleased with the outcome tbh, I didn't really know what to think but it proves that with more people voting, it really can make that difference!

    It's so important to vote, and I think it's wonderful you're encouraging people to do just that! I think it's something we need to tell ourselves and others to do because we can make such a difference xxSending light & love your way,My Lovelier Days

    This is actually a great post and a great way to encourage people to go after what they believe is right. Many people think things won't change but if we all stay back it won't, it's when we actually do something and and support one another and encourage one another that things can change! :)Hope you're well lovely!Layla xxhttp://www.sprinklesofstyle.co.uk
