Happy June, my lovelies (Good God it’s June! :O)
At the start of last month I had a bit of a Body Shop splurge and thought I’d do a bit of a favourites for you since I’m loving them… and other things!
Now first and foremost I need to urge you to get yourself a Body Shop membership card – if for some unknown reason you don’t already have one. It’s £5, BUT get you 10% every purchase (can be used online) and exclusive discounts and notifications when they have special offers or events and things. This beauty got me a nice 30% off (and free gift) with my purchase of all these beauties! It also gives you a free £5 gift for your birthday and has a little loyalty scheme on the back of the card so that on your 4th purchase over £10 you get a free £5 gift and your 8th you get a free £10 gift! Makes it that much more acceptable to treat yourself with some excellent beauty buys – and with the new range at Body Shop I say go for it!
Ok ramble over… firstly; the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foam Cleanser. Now I’m always on the hunt for spot reducing products as all the ones I’ve tried don’t seem to work! This month was exam month so my skin was especially bad and I decided attempt not wearing make up and I’m still successfully going which I’m pretty proud of and it has made my skin feel a lot better as well as making myself feel a lot better and more natural and healthy.
But using this also made it a lot better and really put a stop to great breakouts I think (as well as my new face regime). Apparently this tea tree range is for quite really acne prone skin (as oppose to just any adolescent) as it’s quite harsh on the skin, but the lovely lady in the shop recommended this foam wash as it wasn’t as harsh and would help in putting a stop to uneeded spotties! Thanks babe!
To be quite honest I’m not really sure what this is meant to do – they recommended putting it in the fridge so I guess it wakes up the eyes or something? But hey, it was free so I’m going to use it!
This is from the new Vitamin C range and I really needed a new moisturiser as my little Boots one wasn’t quite cutting it and wasn’t helping my oily T-zone. This isn’t really for oily skin I don’t think (I believe its the seaweed range or something) which I probably should have got, as my T-zone does still get a bit oily throughout the day but I can’t say this product isn’t nice. It smells nice and feels nice (although when putting it on straight away it dries quickly and doesn’t really make my skin feel ‘soft’ but it helps boost it I guess.
Thought I’d throw this in, since Oh My God! I’m not the biggest fan of fudge. I mean I don’t not like it, but it’s always the Hero I avoid (apart from the Creme Egg ones) and I’m never one to think, ‘oh I fancy some fudge’ or would ever buy it for myself (or probably wouldn’t eat it if it was a gift to be honest) but this stuff! I could eat buckets worth! (I mean probably not cause it’s quite rich but I wouldn’t put it past me to a hell of a lot!).
This fudge it amazing! It’s not chewy, it literally melts in your mouth and I’m dribbling writing this right now! It’s only a fiver (based on weight) for one of these huge slabs and it comes in loads of delightful flavours – this one’s my fave: Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt!
